The video editor at Connelly Partners is responsible for creating video and audio content for the agency.  You are a craftsperson that understands how to tell a story through audio and visual mediums. The projects will range from TV spots, radio spots, sales videos, and audio mixing.  You will work with the creative teams and the broadcast producers to plan out and execute the creative.  The video editor needs to be prepared to always be pushing to make the work better and keeping the goals of the creative team in mind.   You will also be responsible for the edit room and understanding the trends in editing keeping the equipment up to date and functioning.   You get to play with all the toys.


  • Digitize and organize all footage for use in videos
  • Provide invaluable creative input on all initial scripts and throughout the post-production process
  • Responsible for putting together videos, per specs of the job
  • Design graphics and creates edit effects
  • With producer and the creative team, screen all cuts throughout the approval process
  • Address all agency and /or client cut changes.
  • Supervise / attends final post as necessary.
  • Archive all footage at the wrap of each job.
  • Maintain all edit equipment, trouble shoots problems, and actively facilitates repairs
  • Other duties: may require shooting content and organizing simple shoots and insert shots


  • Detail oriented, adept at multi-tasking, and a self-starter
  • Remain calm during stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines, organizing and multitasking a variety of details in ever changing situations
  • Obtain a diplomatic and problem-solving attitude
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Aftereffects, Audacity, Photoshop, etc)
  • Understanding of cameras and shooting a plus
