JOB PURPOSE

The broadcast producer loves to help people make things, and we act as the catalyst to help create the best work we can.    We work with all the different groups to keep the process sane, and bring the right  vendors and partners to the table to get it done.  The Broadcast Producer would work with the other team members in production department, including the Director and creative services teams to make sure the schedule and team assignments are clear.   They are responsible for taking the lead on all assigned video and audio content creation for a variety of agency projects.  It can be radio, sales videos, TV spots, animations and various other assets for use in various mediums.  The broadcast producer supports the team from job start, through final delivery of approved assets and the completion of the project.   


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Work with creative and brand teams to assess ability to execute a concepts and produce it within provided budget and deadline.
  • Take the lead in putting forward the best production partners for each job, including director, editor, music house, graphics, etc.
  • Responsible for negotiating and managing all aspects of schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate and supervises all internal resources and works with teams for client approvals.
  • Facilitate all materials getting to their destinations on time, including final masters for trafficking.
  • Responsible for booking and coordinating all production related travel
  • Manage all production related expenses
  • Manage job process and flow of work, including approvals, storage of final assets, and completing projects
  • Owns any other duties/responsibilities assigned by supervisor



QUALIFICATIONS


  • BA/BS Degree from a four-year college with five or more years of related work experience in a broadcast environment
  • Detail-oriented, adept at multi-tasking and a self starter
  • Ability to remain calm during stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines, organizing and multi-tasting a variety of details in ever-changing situations
  • A diplomatic and problem-solving attitude
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAG and AFTRA guidelines for shooting and recording
  • Understanding of Agency process a plus
