JOB PURPOSE

The Integrated Media Planner is a client-facing role that will work with the media sales community and internal client teams to create strategically appropriate media plans pertinent to our clients’ objectives. The ideal candidate has experience handling strategic executions, excellent communication skills and is a team player who is adept at working with internal brand, analytics, social, production and creative teams, as well as direct client interaction.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Conducting media planning research using standard tools (MRI, Scarborough, comScore, etc.)
  • Developing media plans, recommendations and POVs
  • Conducting negotiations with media sales reps
  • Issuing and updating insertion orders
  • Analyzing campaign performance and recommending necessary optimizations, where applicable
  • Resolving media invoice discrepancies
  • Providing support for supervisors (AMDs, Media Directors, etc.)


QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES

  • Two to three years of digital media planning and buying experience
  • Additional experience with traditional media is ideal
  • Strong computer skills including media research and planning tools: MRI-Simmons, Scarborough, Comscore and Google suite applications
  • Strong client service orientation, excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage approximately 3-4 clients
  • Collaboration with search, social platforms/teams and analytics for 360-degree program execution
