DEPARTMENT MISSION

The Operations Group (consisting of Finance, HR & IT) views the employees of CP as their clients. In that relationship dynamic, Operations strives to assist CP employees to maximize their performance, and by extension, that of the Agency clients. The Operations Group is the gatekeeper of all Agency information.

Specifically, the IT Department provides proactive support and training for the user community, understanding how IT services the business needs of each functional group.  


JOB PURPOSE

Connelly Partners is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide support and problem resolution (onsite, via phone and email) for desktop/laptop computers, network issues, network account administration, email administration and general helpdesk tasks.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Manage an environment of both Mac and PC’s
  • Basic Network management including: 
    • Network printer configurations and troubleshooting
    • Workstation and devise IP configurations
  • Wi-Fi troubleshooting including:
    • Manage stored networks on all machine types
    • Change network priority
    • Internet/network access troubleshooting
    • Network resource and share connection
    • VPN configuration & monitoring
  • Work with third-party service provider, elevate cases as needed
  • Manage various web conference solutions
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation of all hardware, application software, end-user self-help, operating procedures and user information
  • Manage our cloud-based backup system through Hubstor
  • Manage all software licenses (Office 365, GSuite, Creative Cloud, Font Management) and administration oversight for day-to-day activities in the various portals
  • Consistently setup and train new employees on all IT systems
  • Onboard and offboard employees ensuring a seamless transition to and from the agency


QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience.


Qualifications include: 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required and extremely critical.
  • Research and problem-solving ability are a must.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Experience with Windows Server operating systems
  • Exposure to source code version control systems (Git, SVN, etc)
  • Network and DNS command line tools (Ping, NSLookup, IPCONFIG operations)
  • Experience with A/V equipment and telecom system (preferably our current NEC SV8100)
  • The ideal candidate will be analytical, resourceful, and able to multi-task and complete projects on a timely basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Provide a human approach and interface with our fellow employees in an effort to collaborate through education and training to ensure efficient and effective performance of required activities
  • Willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done
  • While WFH options are available, initial training will be done full time in the office.  After which, being in the office, will be aligned with the minimum requirements of the CP Policy and the ability to successfully accomplish your essential job duties.
