JOB PURPOSE

The Content Project Manager will work with the creative and production teams to make sure jobs run in and out of the agency on time and to the creative standards we strive for. Keeping

track of schedules, team assignments, interacting with our clients and working with all the people in the process to help create great work.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The Content Project Manager (CPM) is the air traffic controller for the our production and digital content makers. They work with the Creative Service Director and Director of Digital to make sure the right jobs are connected with the right people and things are happening.  The CPM needs to understand the creative, digital and production processes, and act as a general contractor for integrated teams. Making sure the right people are on the job at the right time. You need to be cool, calm and be able to work with the teams to identify the issues that could come up, and help navigate past them. You know how to get things done and you help other people get their jobs done.


  • Work with senior management to onboard projects and interface with appropriate teams to initiate projects
  • Collaborate with producers, directors and group leads on a daily and weekly basis for intra-group resource sharing; ensure teams are assigned and on schedule
  • Ensure all projects are implemented accurately and within agreed upon timeline: keep all parties informed of conflicts, delays or any other unusual situations; expedite and prioritize rush projects accordingly.
  • Maintain production management guidelines and process documentation. Facilitate projects with quality assurance
  • Serve as the key liaison with Brand Management, Creative, Production, UX, Digital and Web Development teams
  • Interface with clients on schedule and budget issues where required
  • Assist with project billing, invoicing, projections and run and manage all Traffic-related reports
  • Participate in strategic development of new business with Creative Service Director and Director of Digital
  • Manage status meetings for Creative Service and Digital, and create synergy between them
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accuracy, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, flexibility and endurance are needed to juggle multiple disciplines, and tasks simultaneously in a time sensitive manner
  • Grace under pressure and the ability to exercise good judgment in sensitive situations
  • Strong follow-up skills and attention to details in an almost annoying capacity
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work proactively and demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast paced, team environment
  • Dedicated and reliable
  • 2-4 years experience in the content creation management or project management space (video, social, or digital) preferred
