The Video editor at Connelly Partners is responsible for creating video for the agency. You are a craftsperson that understands how to tell a story through audio and visual mediums. The projects will range from TV spots, sales videos, light animation and motion, as well as color correction of video content. You will work with the creative teams and the content producers to plan out and execute the creative. The video editor needs to be prepared to always be pushing to make the work better and keeping the goals of the creative team in mind. You will also be responsible for understanding the trends in editing and storytelling. You get to play with all the toys.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
3-5 years of experience in the video/content creation space. Must be detail oriented, adept at multi-tasking, and a self-starter. Individual must also remain calm during stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines, organizing and multitasking a variety of details in ever changing situations and have a diplomatic and problem-solving attitude. Must be proficient Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, AfterEffects, Audacity, Photoshop, etc) as well as color correction of video content. Understanding of cameras and shooting a plus.
